Wait, why the new version of this image? I picked the old one because it was of such an insanely high resolution and looked pretty. While the new version's nice, it's about 1/5 of the size! Granted, the transparenting on the new image is better ''(no bizarre "glow")'', so maybe that's why? {{:User:Ando/sig}} 12:50, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

The only real difference in that area is that the other one has the startup logo instead. If only the angles were compatible.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} 13:14, October 20, 2008 (UTC)

:Actually, regarding size of image, I did a test just now. The image page states that the size of the image is 124 KB. On the DS Lite page ''(where the image is resized using the |---px option)'', I pulled up the image's properties as it was displayed on that page and it showed up as 44 KB. So the Wiki software gives you only what you need -- it doesn't load the whole 2 MB when you only need 200 KB.

:Still, though, no, I don't know where to find the original of that image. Dang, if my sister's DS Lite wasn't all scratched up I'd take a picture of it for the site. :/ {{:User:Ando/sig}} 13:30, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

::It still takes longer to load a larger image. The software has to resize it. That isn't cheap on memory.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} 13:34, October 20, 2008 (UTC)

I tried removing the glow of the original, but the quality wasn't good enough and gave it rough edges. If you know where to find the original image, I should be able to render it. User:MARKOL/sig 13:00, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Actually, regarding size of image, I did a test just now. The image page states that the size of the image is 124 KB. On the DS Lite page (where the image is resized using the |---px option), I pulled up the image's properties as it was displayed on that page and it showed up as 44 KB. So the Wiki software gives you only what you need -- it doesn't load the whole 2 MB when you only need 200 KB.
Still, though, no, I don't know where to find the original of that image. Dang, if my sister's DS Lite wasn't all scratched up I'd take a picture of it for the site. :/ User:Ando/sig 13:30, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
It still takes longer to load a larger image. The software has to resize it. That isn't cheap on memory.User:Matt/sig 13:34, October 20, 2008 (UTC)
