Lanayru Mining Facility is a dungeon in Skyward Sword, located within Lanayru Desert. It was the main industrial complex of an unnamed civilization or corporation that had died out. The dungeon is full of sand that has built up over time.
Inside the facility, Link extensively uses the Gust Bellow to remove the sand from the ground and thus reveal hidden items or unlock doors. Inside, Link will have to bring back power to the dungeon so that he can navigate it further. Doing so will allow him to ride minecarts and run along conveyor belts which have obstacles that Link must dodge.
