This article is about the boss in The Adventure of Link. For the enemy, see Gūma.

Characteristics

Gooma is a giant with a spike helmet that swings a spiked Ball and Chain at Link. Wearing no armor, its body is vulnerable, but not its head. To defeat Gooma, Link must dodge the spiked ball that it throws at him hit Gooma with his sword.

Trivia

  • This boss does not appear in the Japanese version of the game, with a second appearance of Jermafenser in its place.
  • Gooma's artwork was intended for Gūma in the Japanese version of the game before localization.
