Although used only in Reuniting Kafei and Anju, the Special Delivery to Mama enables Link to obtain two important items within the game.
Once the Curiosity Shop Guy gives Link this letter in Kafei's hideout, it can either be delivered to Madame Aroma personally for a Bottle, or given to the Postman to receive the Postman's Hat. Once one item has been received, Link must go back to the Dawn of the First Day and repeat the sequence in order to obtain the other item.
