Location and Uses

The Flamebreaker Set consists of the Flamebreaker Helm, Flamebreaker Armor, and Flamebreaker Boots. All three pieces can be bought at Ripped and Shredded armor shop in Goron City, though a Flamebreaker Armor is awarded from completing the "Fireproof Lizard Roundup" Side Quest. Each piece grants protection from volcanic temperatures, similar to Fireproof Elixirs. If all three pieces of the set have been upgraded twice at a Great Fairy Fountain, wearing the set grants Link complete immunity to being set on fire.

Confusingly, the the trait on the armor pieces that protects against scorching climates is called Flame Guard, while the set bonus granting protection from burning is called Fireproof.
