Air Stones,(ST)[1] also known as Song Stones,(HWL)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

Spirit Tracks

When Link approaches an Air Stone, colored orbs of light float from the hole, matching the colors on the Spirit Flute's pipes. If Link plays the corresponding colors, he will learn a new song for the Flute. The Air Stone will then take off into the sky.

Song Stones appear in the Grand Travels Map of Adventure Mode, which is included in the Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks DLC Pack. When a Warrior uses an Item Card on a Song Stone, the Song Stone will take off into the sky, revealing a Treasure Chest with a duplicate of the Item Card used.[2] Each Song Stone will disappear once used but will later reappear after multiple Battles.
