Acorns are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Locations and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Acorns are common throughout Hyrule Kingdom, often found at the base of Trees. They may also drop when a Tree is cut down. They can also be obtained by killing Bushy-Tailed Squirrels. Acorns can be eaten raw to restore a quarter of a Heart. As Acorns are flammable, they will ignite when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, which will result in Roasted Acorns.

When added to a Cooking Pot, each Acorn will provide half a heart to the resulting meal. The first Acorn used will provide a 10 second boost to the duration of effects obtained from eating meals. Any further Acorns added will not provide any benefits to Foods or Elixirs. Acorns are also used as an ingredient for Brown Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.
