Cherry-Blossom Trees,(TotK)[1] also known as Cherry Trees,(FPTRR)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series. Cherry-Blossom Trees go unnamed in Breath of the Wild.

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

A single Cherry-Blossom Tree is located on Satori Mountain, and the Lord of the Mountain may appear in the pond at the base of the tree. As hinted at in Super Rumor Mill V3, the Ancient Bridle is located next to the Cherry-Blossom Tree.[3]

Tears of the Kingdom

There are eight Cherry-Blossom Trees in Hyrule corresponding to different geographical regions. A Map of Cherry-Blossom Trees marking these locations can be seen at Outskirt Stable.

Each Cherry-Blossom Tree has a bowl at its base. If Link offers a fruit item in the bowl, Satori will briefly appear and create glowing beacons marking entrances to Surface Caves in the corresponding region. These beacons will illuminate regardless if Link has visited the Cave before or obtained its Bubbul Gem. The Ancient Zora Waterworks entrance will not be illuminated however, regardless of story progress.

Konora can be found at each Cherry-Blossom Tree seeking the "voe of her dreams".[4] She is also aware of a rumor that a Satori can be seen near such trees.[5] Should Link offer fruit to Satori, Konora can hear and sense it but apparently cannot see the creature.[6][7] After Link has offered fruit to Satori at a Cherry-Blossom Tree, Konora will leave and wander the paths of Hyrule instead. Even though Konora is not initially present at the Cherry-Blossom Tree in Hebra before the Blizzard ends, if Link offers fruit to Satori there, she will begin wandering roads and act as if they met at the tree.

A ninth Cherry-Blossom Tree can be found at the Blupee Burrow in the Central Hyrule Depths. Unlike the others, no bowl can be found at its base.
