Chirri are a species in Skyward Sword.[2][1]

Characteristics

Fi's Commenthide ▲
Fi says:

This bird is a Chirri. Although very small in comparison to Loftwings, Chirris are probably of an average size for birds found near the surface.

There is an 85% probability that its feathers can be used as some kind of material.

Chirris are small Birds that can be found on the Surface in places such as Faron Woods. There are three varieties: yellow, orange and blue. Link can sneak up on them and catch them with his Bug Net to obtain a Bird Feather. If the caught Chirri is blue, he will receive a Blue Bird Feather instead.

Groose is initially surprised to see the small Birds when he lands on the Surface because the only ones found in the Sky are the larger Loftwings.[3]
