Description |
Common Locations Eldin Mountains | |
Properties |
Cobble Crushers are two-handed Weapons created by Gorons.[1] They are very thick but do not possess a cutting edge.[1] Therefore, they are consequently used as crushing Weapons, due to the weight of their component metal.[1] They belong to the Goron Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons that are made by Gorons.[4] They are most commonly found around Goron City in the Eldin Canyon and throughout the Eldin Mountains. In addition to this, they have a chance to appear in Treasure Chests found from scanning the Breath of the Wild Series Daruk amiibo with the amiibo Rune. Should Link ever lose the Boulder Breaker, he can ask Rohan in Goron City to make him a new one in exchange for a Cobble Crusher, a Diamond, and five pieces of Flint.[5]
Cobble Crushers have a hidden property which causes their damage output to be doubled when used on the Ore Deposit atop a Stone Talus. In this vein, they will immediately destroy Stone Pebblits when used against them.
As Cobble Crushers are made out of metal, they will sink if they are dropped in Water, and they do not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. This also means that they can be manipulated through the Magnesis Rune. Finally, they will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning if Link has one equipped during a Thunderstorm.
