Deku's Heir
Deku's Heir is a character in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[2] He is the heir of the Deku Tree.[1]
Biography
When Tingle first meets Deku's Heir, the Deku Tree reveals that his Heir has grown sickly because of the recent pollution caused by Humans.[1] In order to save his Heir, the Deku Tree requests that Tingle enters the Deku Temple, located at the base of the Deku Tree's trunk, and retrieve the Life Dew.[3][4]
Upon clearing Bana Bana from the Deku Temple and retrieving the Life Dew, Tingle can use it to heal Deku's Heir.[5] As thanks for saving his Heir, the Deku Tree will reward Tingle with up to 6,000 Rupees.[6][7] After rewarding Tingle, the Deku Tree will wither and die, leaving Deku's Heir to protect the Deku Forest in his place.[8] Despite inheriting the responsibility, Deku's Heir will be unsure how to carry out his duties.[9]
