Description
This low-level gel monster is engulfed in electricity. Its strength varies depending on its size. It tends to explode if attacked from close range, so the use of spears, arrows, and other ranged weapons is advised.
Common Locations
Gerudo Highlands
East Necluda
Recoverable Materials
Yellow Chuchu Jelly

Electric Chuchus are a variation of Chuchu most commonly found in the Gerudo Desert and East Necluda. Electric Wizzrobes and Thunder Wizzrobes are also able to summon them.[4] They are known to have an aura of Electricity.[5] If Link touches or is attacked by an Electric Chuchu, he will be shocked. Electric Chuchus will emit an Electrical blast when they lunge towards Link, which can shock him if he is within range. Should Link have any metallic Weapons equipped, he will drop the Weapons and receive double the damage.

After releasing their shock, Electric Chuchus will temporarily enter a "powered-down" form, marked by a darker yellow color. During this period, they cannot release additional shocks and can be struck without Electrocuting Link. After a few seconds, Electric Chuchus will re-charge themselves and return to their electrified state. If they are defeated while in their powered-up state, they will explode in an electrified blast that will electrocute any vulnerable entities within its range.[5] As a result, the Hyrule Compendium recommends fighting them with ranged Weapons, such as Spears or Arrows.[5] Electric Chuchus will drop Yellow Chuchu Jellies upon being defeated.
