Fado is a character in Twilight Princess.[2]

Biography

Twilight Princess

Fado is responsible for running the Ordon Ranch. He teaches Link to ride Epona by setting up fences for practice.[3] As goats never listen to him,[4] he often asks Link to help him by herding them.[5][6] After Link restores light to the Eldin Province and gets Epona back, Fado gives him a Piece of Heart if he herds 20 goats into the barn in less than three minutes.[7]

Fado is last seen during the ending credits calling to Link's empty house.

Other Appearances

Twilight Princess (Himekawa)

In the Twilight Princess manga by Akira Himekawa, Fado asks for Link’s help in rounding up a herd of Ordon Goats that have scattered. He later joins the group of villagers attempting to find Talo and Malo and is badly injured by King Bulblin’s forces.

Trivia

  • According to series producer Eiji Aonuma, the interior of Fado's house was left inaccessible due to time constraints during development.[8]
