Fire Guardian
Fire Guardians are Sub-Bosses in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Characteristics
Fire Guardians are Elemental Guardians enhanced with Fire. They closely resemble standard Guardians in shape, though they glow with fiery orange-yellow light. Their bodies are made out of reddish-brown Ancient Technology, Fire wisps off their heads and the base of their bodies, and their Eyes are light yellow as opposed to the standard blue. While stunned, their glow and the Fire drifting off them disappear. When struck in the Eye by Weapons or Arrows, their Weak Point Gauges will be exposed. Guardian lasers can be deflected back with a Perfect Guard, dealing a significant amount of damage and chipping away at their Gauge. When an Ice Rod is used on them, they will be temporarily frozen in place, their Gauges cracked and taking more damage. While in a frozen state, the flames around them are snuffed out but the fiery glow on their bodies remains.
Fire Guardians attack at close range by swinging one of their legs to scratch the character in front them. They are able to spin around at the Warriors to damage them and fling them away, telegraphed by them drawing their legs up and a Stasis icon appearing above them. When Stasis expires after being used on them during this attack, they will be temporarily stunned and their Weak Point Gauge will be exposed. They can fire lasers at their enemies after targeting them with their Search Beam. Fire Guardians sometimes jump up and slam against the ground, creating explosions of Fire. Their other attacks consist of rearing two of their legs up and slamming them down, either launching a fireball at their target or creating explosions around themselves.
