"From Ferrus (3)" is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1] As its name suggests, it is the third Letter from Ferrus.

Location and Uses

"From Ferrus (3)" can be collected from any Postbox after Link has completed the Sand Temple, provided he has collected the first and second Letters from Ferrus, fulfilled both of Ferrus's Passenger requests, and then entered the Tower of Spirits. Once again, the Letter includes a photo—this time of a location near a Whistle Sign in a wooded area of the Forest Realm—and a request from Ferrus for Link to meet him there. It reads,

Page 1Page 2

Tell me, do you recognize
this locale? You remember
the Ocean Temple you
brought me to before?
I found something NEATO
there!

If you want to come visit
me, I'll give you this thing
I found. Stop by when you
can!
Your aquatic pal,
Ferrus

The location in the photo can be deduced as the Spirit Tracks due south of the Forest Temple. Link can drive the Spirit Train there to meet with Ferrus, who gives the young engineer a valuable Treasure that he found while exploring the Ocean Temple.[2]
