Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Gortram Cliff is a cliffside that is part of a large gorge that runs between Goronbi River and Gorko Lake in the Eldin Canyon. The Cliff itself designated by a Sign at the southwestern end of the gorge, where a tiny pool of Lava is found.[3] At the opposite end of the gorge in the northeast is the entrance to Gorko Tunnel. The path to the Tunnel is an upward slope of uneven terrain, including steep areas with poor traction. Since Gortram Cliff is located in a Scorching Climate, Link needs at least one level of Flame Guard to traverse the area without taking damage.

During the "A Brother's Roast" Shrine Quest, Bladon sends Link to retrieve a Rock Roast from Gortram Cliff so that he may Cook it for his fatigued brother, Gonguron.[4] During this time, Rock Roasts can be found at the base of Gortram Cliff. As Link makes his way back to Gorko Tunnel, Monsters will appear in the area, including archer Black Moblins and rolling Boulders. In addition to contending with obstacles, Link must also carefully plan his path ahead, as the steep slopes will make him slip and drop the Rock Roast, causing it to roll down into the Lava pool below.
