Great Rupee Fairy is a character in A Link Between Worlds.[1]

Biography

The Great Rupee Fairy is found in Lorule, in a cave behind the Bomb Flower Store. Once Link has access to the Big Bomb Flower, the entrance to her fountain can be opened by blowing up the large rock in front of it.

When Link first enters the fountain, he can throw in either 50 or 200 Rupees. By doing so, the Great Rupee Fairy will restore Link's Hearts and release some Fairies.[2] After throwing in a total of 3,000 Rupees, she will grow back to her normal size and reward Link with a Bottle.[3] Link will no longer be able to make donations to the fountain after he is given the Bottle, and therefore will no longer be able to see the Great Rupee Fairy. However, Fairies can be obtained in her fountain upon returning to the cave.
