Ilari is a character in The Wind Waker.[1]

Biography

Ilari was born on Dragon Roost Island. He is a Rito postman, and can usually be found at the highest balcony of the island. He tells Link about Flight Control Platform before taking off.

After Link sends Maggie's Letter to the Postbox, Ilari is seen the next day on Windfall Island, where he and Maggie's Father are seen arguing inside the newly-rich homeowner's house.[2][3][4] Maggie's Father refuses to let the postman deliver the Moblin's Letter to Maggie and will not listen to reason.[5][6][7][8][9] Frustrated, Ilari leaves to the Cafe Bar to calm down.[10] There, he explains to Link the hardships he experienced to obtain the Letter, and feels he is a failure for failing to deliver it.[11] Link can help this troubled postman by agreeing to deliver the letter for him.[12]

He has a difficult time remembering people's faces.
