The Knight's Gear is a recurring archetype of Weapon in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Knight's Gear was equipment issued to the Knights of Hyrule who guarded Hyrule Castle. It is known for its reliability and Durability, qualities for which it still sees use in the wake of the the Great Calamity.[2][3][4][5]

All pieces of Knight's Gear are made of metal, which means they will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning during Thunderstorms. They do not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. Finally, they will sink if they are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Rune.

There is also Knight's Gear equipment available for Horses.[6] This Horse Gear was used by the Knights of Hyrule to protect their Horses and as status symbols.[7][8] The Knight's Bridle can be obtained by breaking 20 to 22 Targets during the Horseback Archery Mini-Game.[9][10] The Knight's Saddle can be obtained by breaking 23 to 25 Targets.[9][11]

Tears of the Kingdom
