The Light Dragon is a character in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Biography

The Light Dragon is the form that Zelda takes after swallowing a Secret Stone in order to restore the Master Sword back to its former glory and to deliver it to Link. Link is able to land upon her head in Dragon form in order to try to pull the Master Sword from her forehead, at the risk of causing her great pain. Link can only successfully extract the Master Sword once he has two full Stamina Wheels.

The Light Dragon appears during the final fight against the Demon Dragon. She carries Link high into the air in order for him to land on the Demon Dragon's body. If Link falls too far close to the ground, she will swoop in to save him and return him to a higher elevation. At the conclusion of the battle, the Spirits of Rauru and Sonia channel their power through Link to undo Zelda's transformation and return her to normal.
