The Maiamai Map is obtained from Mother Maiamai after Link offers to help her locate all 100 Lost Maiamais.[1] It works in both Hyrule and Lorule. By tapping the Maiamai Map icon on the touchscreen, the overworld map will be divided into areas—nine in Hyrule and seven in Lorule—displaying the number of remaining Lost Maiamais in each one.[2]
