Mekar Island is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Breath of the Wild

Mekar Island is a small island located in Lake Mekar. Mekar Island sits directly West of Korok Forest and the Lost Woods. Mekar Island is devoid of life, hosting only a dead Tree in its center. If Link steps on the Island at night a group of various Stal enemies will rise and attack him.
