Mount Drena is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Mount Drena is located between the Great Hyrule Forest and the Hebra Mountains. It features two peaks, the northwestern one being part of the Hebra Mountains, while the southeastern one is part of the Great Hyrule Forest. Between the two peaks, an unnamed path leads to the Drenan Highlands.

In the north, Mount Drena is the subject of a Freezing Climate, as is the top of its southeastern peak. Creatures and Materials more common to cold areas are found in the northern half of the mountain. In the south, their more temperate counterparts are present. Dinraal flies above Mount Drena while entering the Tanagar Canyon at 1:00 AM. It creates a gust of Wind as it flies by, but it cannot be reached at its distance.

Two Monster Strongholds are situated around the northwestern peak of Mount Drena. They mainly consist of Bokoblins, who are gathered around Campfires. The Treasure Chests in the northern Stronghold contains five Ice Arrows. In the southern Monster Stronghold, the Chest contains five Shock Arrows. The southern Stronghold also features a Cooking Pot.

Several Treasure Chests can be found throughout Mount Drena. On top of the southeastern peak, a metal Chest contains a Knight's Halberd. Other Chests contain a Silver Rupee, another Knight's Halberd, and a bundle of five Fire Arrows.

A total of three Korok Seed Puzzles can be found on Mount Drena. The first is a Cube Pattern on its northern side, near the North Lomei Labyrinth. The second is south of the northwestern peak, and it involves rolling a Boulder downhill into a hole. The final is a Rock on the southeastern peak, which serves as a Natural Hiding Spot. When these Puzzles have been solved, a Korok will appear and give Link a Korok Seed.[3]
