Nachoyah Shrine,[1] designated by the trial name The Ability to Rewind,[1] is a Shrine of Light in Tears of the Kingdom.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Nachoyah Shrine is located above the Room of Awakening on the Great Sky Island. After Link enters the Temple of Time and receives the Recall ability from Zelda, the Spirit of Rauru guides him to the Nachoyah Shrine to receive the Great Sky Island's fourth Light of Blessing. In order to enter the Shrine of Light, Link must interact with the Nachoyah Shrine's entrance.

Themes and Navigation

The interior of Nachoyah Shrine

The Nachoyah Shrine is heavily built around the use of the Recall ability. The first segment contains a Current of water that pushes Rafts along. One of the Rafts falls from a Waterfall, which makes for a ride up onto the ledge above once it is Recalled. On the second segment, there is a large, toothed Gear running through a pool of water beside a ledge with a Treasure Chest. In this area, there are also large clock-like hands running in opposite directions to each other that control a portcullis leading to the end of the Shrine of Light. This portcullis will only descend when both hands are positioned identically.

A Statue of Rauru and Sonia can be found at the end of the Nachoyah Shrine. By interacting with the Magical panel in front of the Statue, Link can receive a Light of Blessing to cleanse the corruption of Darkness from within him.[2][3]
