Narah
Narah is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[4][5]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Narah is a a young Hylian girl who resides in Hateno Village. She lives with her family in the House northeast of the Village's entrance. During the day, she and her brother, Nebb, can be be found running in front of the East Wind, the Well, and the Kochi Dye Shop.
When Link approaches Narah she tells him that she likes to run.[6] In addition, she also likes to talk, and she demands that Link ask her questions.[7] Link can ask Narah three different things: who she cares about, what she enjoys doing, and what things she likes. Whenever she answers one of Link's questions, she will ask to keep the conversation going.[8] Once the conversation is done, Narah will cheerfully bid him goodbye.[9]
If Link asks Narah who she cares about, she responds that she loves her mother, Nikki, but she is unable to interrupt her when she is talking with Amira at the Well.[3] However, Narah has discovered that she can talk to Nikki if she sneaks up to her from behind.[10]
If Link asks what she likes to do, Narah tells him how she enjoys catching Insects.[11] She teaches Link her technique for doing so, which is crouching down and approaching quietly.[12]
Finally, if Link asks Narah what she likes, she shares her love of Gems and Rupees.[13] If Link has a Gem in his Inventory, Narah will notice.[14] When Link asks what has her attention, she tells him to sell his Gem so he can be rich.[15][16][17][18][19][20] Narah will also notice if Link does not have any Gems.[21]
At 8:00 PM, Narah and Nebb will run back to their House. When Link approaches Narah, she tells him that she is unable to talk.[22][23] She sleeps in one of the Beds in the House's loft.[24][25][26] During Rain, she will take shelter inside her House. When Link speaks to her, she says that she likes Cooking.[27]
When Link walks near Narah while carrying the Blue Flame, she begins to follow him around out of curiosity.[28] If Link speaks to her, she calls it pretty and decides that she likes it.[29] She then asks Link where he can get one of her own.[30]
