Revali's Landing is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Revali's Landing is a flight platform in Rito Village. It is used by the Rito to travel between their Village and the Flight Range to the north.[3] The crest of the Rito can be seen painted upon the Landing's floor.

100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild, the "Revali's Flap" Recovered Memory occurred on Revali's Landing. While visiting Rito Village with Zelda, Link can be seen watching Divine Beast Vah Medoh flying above him. Revali interrupts him by flying up using his Gale, which he then proceeds to gloat about.[4] He then expresses his frustration about being forced to assist Link in the fight against Calamity Ganon, when he believes that he is capable of defeating it himself.[5] Revali challenges Link to a duel to prove him wrong, and though he suggests Vah Medoh as a location, he uses it as an opportunity to mock Link for his inability to fly.[6] Using his Gale once more, Revali flies off, wishing Link luck in sealing away Calamity Ganon.[7] This Recovered Memory can be accessed during the "Divine Beast Vah Medoh" Main Quest. After Revali was killed during the Great Calamity, Revali's Landing received its name in his honor.[8]

While it is daytime, Bedoli visits Revali's Landing, where she paces. Prior to starting the "Recital at Warbler's Nest" Shrine Quest, Notts also visits the Landing, sitting on its edge. As part of the "Divine Beast Vah Medoh" Main Quest, Saki directs Link to Revali's Landing as a path to reach the Flight Range.[9]
