The Rito Stable is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview

The Rito Stable is a Stable that is located in the Tabantha Frontier, not far from Rito Village. It is named for its proximity to the Rito of Rito Village.[2] The Stable features a lumber yard behind the yurt, where several felled Cedar Trees can be found. The Stable's two Signs direct travelers to the Flight Range, Rospro Pass, and Rito Village.[3][4] A Cooking Pot can be found in front of the Horses' feeding trough, and several Wooden Boxes and a covered Wagon sit near a lone Cedar Tree on the north side of the Stable.

Inside Rito Stable, there is a poster depicted a Recipe for Spicy Meat Stew. A copy of the Rumor Mill: Volume 2, which details rumors about the Master Sword, also sits open on the table.[5]

As with all other Stables, Beedle can be found either within or outside of Rito Stable, where he sells his wares. Before Link completes the relevant Side Quest, Shrine Quest, Rito Stable is one of the places that Kass stops on his journey, and he will offer to play an "Ancient Song" for Link while there.[6] During the day, the Stable worker Ariane sweeps the grounds. Another worker, Lester, sits at the Cooking Pot with Ponthos. The travelers Kanny and Falmark both stop at Rito Stable on their journeys.

Rito Stable is run by Galli, who mans both its Horse-boarding and Inn services.[7][8] When staying at Rito Stable, Link can choose to rest in either a regular Bed for 20 Rupees or a soft Bed for 40 Rupees.[9] Galli explains that the soft Bed leaves its users feeling more energized when they wake up.[10] If Link decides to stay at the Stable, Galli offers to wake him up in the morning, at noon, or in the evening.[11] Once Link makes his choice, Galli will send him off to sleep.[12][13] When Link wakes up, Galli will greet him.[14][15][16] By sleeping in the soft Bed}, Link will receive a bonus Heart when he wakes up.

When Link speaks to Lester at Rito Stable, he claims that he wants to make Curry Rice, but he does not have the Goron Spice necessary to do so.[17] As part of the "Curry for What Ails You" Side Quest, Lester asks Link to bring him the Goron Spice that he needs.[18] Once Link has Goron Spice, he will be able to give it to Lester for a reward of a Purple Rupee.[19][20] After completing this Side Quest, Link is able to continue trading Goron Spice with Lester, receiving Hylian Rice in turn.[21]
