The Road to Snowhead is a location in Majora's Mask.[1] As its name suggests, it serves as the main entry point to Snowhead from the Mountain Village.

Overview

The Goron Mask is required in order to traverse the rugged, mountainous terrain en route to Snowhead Temple. As a Goron, Link must curl into a ball and roll forward to achieve a maximum speed, then utilize that momentum to fly off the ramps stationed on either side of two moderately large gaps along the way. The road in its entirety takes the form of a steep ledge veering to the left, so rushing in recklessly without slowing down to inspect the scenery beforehand is inadvisable. The pathway is closed off to both ordinary travelers and Gorons who cannot perform the "Goron Jump".[2]

There is a Piece of Heart situated on a pillar protruding from the abyss below. It is acquired by jumping across four invisible platforms (seen using the Lens of Truth) and playing the Scarecrow's Song a relatively short distance away from the rock formation where the Heart Piece awaits. Link can shuttle himself across the chasm using his Hookshot on Pierre, the Scarecrow summoned using the melody taught to him earlier in the same three-day cycle.
