The Sahirow Shrine,[1] designated by the trial name Aid from Above,[1] is a Shrine of Light in Tears of the Kingdom.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Sahirow Shrine is situated on top of Corvash Peak in the Hebra Mountains. It corresponds to the Worihas Lightroot in the Depths.

Themes and Navigation

The entrance to the Shrine opens to a twisting hallway. Inside this hallway, there is a Sensor and a Trapdoor. If Link touches the Sensor's ray, it will trigger the Trapdoor, preventing him from walking across the hallway's floor. To avoid this, Link must successfully jump over the Sensor. This hallway continues to a longer stretch with several Sensors and a long Trapdoor floor. At the end of this stretch, there is a short platform that sits in front of three Sensors. To avoid these, Link can either take a running jump from the floor, or he can jump and Paraglide from the ledge.

Beyond this hallway, there is a wall with a floating platform that moves along its top ledge. Link must Ascend to reach the top of this wall, which opens to a forked path. To the right, there is a head-height Sensor and a Trapdoor blocking the way to a small chamber. Link can crouch under this Sensor's ray to reach the chamber, which contains two Iron Boxes and a portcullis guarding a Stone Chest. This portcullis is controlled by the Sensor outside the chamber, and the Sensor must be triggered in order for it to be lifted. Link can open the portcullis from within the chamber by moving an Iron Box with Ultrahand into the Sensor's ray.

The answer to the Sensor laser puzzle

To the left of the floating platform is a series of hallways. When Link enters the first hallway, a portcullis will fall and trap him in as Sensors move horizontally along the floor. Successfully passing this hallway will trap Link in the next one as the Sensors deactivate. The second hallway is much the same, though a pair of head-height Sensors will move along the hallway instead. In the third hallway, a large arch structure will move through the space instead. Several Sensors placed on the inside of this arch will create an impassable cage that Link cannot move through. Instead, Link must wait for the arch to approach and use Ascend on the ceiling of the arch to bypass the Sensors. Upon doing so, Link will have a clear pathway to the end of the Shrine.

A Statue of Rauru and Sonia can be found at the end of the Sahirow Shrine. By interacting with the Terminal in front of the Statue, Link can receive a Light of Blessing to cleanse the corruption of Darkness from within him.[2][3]
