Seres Scablands
The Seres Scablands are a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotW | TotK | HWAoC)[1][2][3]
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Seres Scablands are a large area of land located on Hyrule Ridge, nestled between the Tanagar Canyon and the West Hyrule Plains. They are bordered by Ludfo's Bog to the northeast, and the Hilltop High Road runs along their southern edge. Their terrain is rough, as evidenced by the many holes and crevasses throughout the landscape, and covered by an open woodland of Dragonbloods of various sizes.
In the middle of the Seres Scablands, a Blue Hinox sleeps in a small field of grass.[4] In Master Mode, it is replaced by a Black Hinox. The Hinox will initially be asleep, but if Link wakes it up, it will begin to attack him.
There are a total of four Korok Seed Puzzles that can be found on the Seres Scablands. The first is a Balloon underneath one of the large Dragonbloods north of the Blue Hinox, which Link must use Archery to destroy. The second is another Balloon that can be found under a Dragonblood south of the Hinox. The third can be solved by interacting with the Leaves with Fairy Dust that dart around the east end of the Scablands. Finally, the fourth Puzzle is a Race found on a Dragonblood on the southeast end of the Seres Scablands, its endpoint being another large Dragonblood nearby. When Link solves each of these Puzzles, a Korok will appear and give him a Korok Seed.[5]
