Sha Gehma Shrine
The Sha Gehma Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Shift and Lock,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.
Entrance to the Shrine
Sha Gehma Shrine is located close to the northern edge of the N. Tabantha Snowfield in the Tabantha Tundra. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Sha Gehma.[2]
Sha Gehma Shrine features a Treasure Chest trapped under a metallic block on a rail, a walkway that spirals up around the rail and two moving platforms that pass near the rail. In order to complete the Trial, Link must retrieve the Small Key inside the trapped Treasure Chest.
To access the Treasure Chest, Link must lift the metal block with the Magnesis Rune. Once it is raised, he can use the Stasis Rune on it to stop it from falling back onto the Chest. Alternatively, Link can lift the metal block above the moving platforms, causing it to be stuck on top of the platforms for a short period of time. Stasis can also be used on one of these platforms to increase that time. Once the top of the Chest is cleared, Link will be able to open it and retrieve the Small Key.
With the Small Key, Link can open the portcullis to the Monk's Pedestal. When approached, Sha Gehma will give Link a Spirit Orb as a reward for completing the Trial.[3] Afterwards, the Monk will wish Link well before fading away.[4]
A Treasure Chest can be found underneath the top of the spiraling walkway. When it is opened, Link will receive a Royal Broadsword.
