The Sheikah Gear is a recurring archetype of Weapon in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Sheikah Gear is a series of weaponry made using techniques passed down within the Sheikah Tribe, including Ancient Technology.[2][3][4][5][6] Their blades are notable for possessing a single cutting edge and for being remarkably sharp.[2][3]
When scanned with the amiibo Rune, the Super Smash Bros. Series Sheik amiibo has a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a piece of Sheikah Gear.
With the exception of the Phrenic Bow, all types of Sheikah Gear are made out of metal. This means that they will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning during Thunderstorms. They will sink if they are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up and manipulated using the Magnesis Rune. Finally, the Sheikah Gear will not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
