Shoqa Tatone is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Shoqa Tatone is a Sheikah Monk who serves the Goddess Hylia. Following the first Great Calamity and the ostracism of the Sheikah 10,000 years prior to Breath of the Wild, Shoqa Tatone became a Monk and constructed an Ancient Shrine to help prepare Link against the threat of Calamity Ganon.[4][1]
Following Link's Slumber of Restoration in the Shrine of Resurrection, the Shoqa Tatone Shrine is activated and can then be entered by someone bearing a Sheikah Slate.[5] When Link enters the Shrine, he is greeted by the Monk and is offered the Shrine's Trial in the name of Hylia.[2] If Link completes the Trial, Shoqa Tatone praises him and rewards the Hylian Champion with a Spirit Orb.[6] With their role fulfilled, Shoqa Tatone wishes Link well as their body fades away.[7]

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
As part of the "Trial of Shoqa Tatone" Quest, Shoqa Tatone asks the Warriors to bring them proof of their triumphs and a "gift from the snow."[8] Once the Warriors offer their Materials to Shoqa Tatone, they will be rewarded with a blessing to the land, which results in Monk Maz Koshia receiving two bonus Hearts.[9][10]
