Silva
Silva is a character in Skyward Sword.[1]
Biography
Silva is a Mogma treasure hunter and the brother of Bronzi and Plats.[2][3] He is reputed for taking great pride in his long hair.[4] He is first encountered in the Fire Sanctuary, where he has been captured by Ghirahim's forces and suspended above a pool of lava. As thanks for saving him, he gives Link the Mogma Mitts. Silva appears to greatly admire Guld, the Mogma elder.
After Link rescues his brother Bronzi he appears as his brother leaves and apologies for his brother giving Link a hard time, before telling Link he should open the Treasure Chest that Brozi left for him. After Link obtains the Dungeon Map from the chest, Silva reveals there is a Weak Wall somewhere in the room and warns Link to be careful of monsters that live in underground tunnels. If Link talks to Silva after he obtains the Small Key in the nearby hidden room, he will tell him that he plans to explore the room a little bit more before reporting to Guld that Bronzi is free.
Nomenclature
Silva's name is derived from the metal silver. In the Latin American Spanish and French versions, his name is derived from argentum, the Latin word for silver.
