Cooking Effects
Cold Resistance

Spicy Peppers grow from bushes on the Great Plateau, near the Gerudo Canyon Stable, and in the Tabantha Frontier. They can be eaten to restore half a Heart. When cooked, the resulting dish will grant Link Cold Resistance when eaten.[1] Spicy Peppers exposed to a Fire turn into Charred Peppers, which restore three-quarters of a Heart. Link can use Spicy Peppers at the Kochi Dye Shop as Red Dye.

Spicy Peppers are required to make Pepper Seafood, Spicy Pepper Steak, and Spicy Sautéed Peppers. Like other Fruits, Spicy Peppers can be used to make Fruit Pie, Fruitcake, Honeyed Fruits, Simmered Fruit, Steamed Fruit, Fruit and Mushroom Mix, and Copious Simmered Fruit.

Tears of the Kingdom

Spicy Peppers can be seen growing in a cave on the Great Sky Island.
