Stable Saddles are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Stable Saddles are the default Saddle given to Horses when they are registered at a Stable. They are a piece of Stable Gear, which is a set of Horse Gear.[2] They are given to Link once he pays the registration fee for his Horse.[3]

The only Horses who do not receive Stable Saddles upon their registration are Epona and the Giant Horse, who will be equipped with their own special Saddles and cannot wear the default one.[4][5] While Link can replace his Stable Saddles throughout his journey, he can always change his Horses back into them by speaking to specific workers at Highland Stable, Outskirt Stable, South Akkala Stable, or Woodland Stable.[1]

Tears of the Kingdom

Stable Saddles can be equipped to registered Horses.
