Sword Guard
Sword Guards are Enemies in Cadence of Hyrule.[1]
Characteristics
Sword Guards are stronger than the Blue Guard, having more health and can deal more damage with their swords but possess no shields, allowing them to be attacked from all sides. They always move to the beat of the music, and shared their movement pattern with other guards. While passive, they will prefer to move in the shape of a circle either clockwise or counter-clockwise, always crouching for one beat before hopping to an adjacent tile on the second beat. However, if their path is blocked off by an object or enemy on one beat, they will hop away in the opposite direction on the next beat without crouching, then resume their normal beat pattern for two beats before attempting to form another circle.
Upon seeing Cadence, Link, Yves, or Zelda, they will turn aggressive and try to chase them with their swords on every other beat.
