The Traveler's Gear is a recurring archetype of Weapon in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Traveler's Gear is equipment used by travelers passing through the wilderness of Hyrule Kingdom. It is not especially strong or durable, and is designed to fend off wild Animals and weak Monsters.[2][3][4]

Pieces of Traveler's Gear are composed of both metal and wood. Wooden Traveler's Gear will burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, can float on Water, cannot conduct Electricity, do not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms, and are unable to be picked up using the Magnesis Rune. The inverse is true of metallic Traveler's Gear.
