The West Barrens are a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The West Barrens are located in the Gerudo Desert. The West Barrens make up the entire northwest section of the Gerudo Desert. In the Shrine Quest, "The Silent Swordswomen", Link must follow a series of the swordswomen statues through the sandstorm in the West Barrens. This will point Link to the hidden Kema Zoos Shrine. The Barrens contains the West Gerudo Ruins. Kilton's shop, Fang and Bone, can be found in the West Barrens at night on a small platform near Gerudo Town.

A Treasure Chest containing a Gold Rupee sits on a platform in the center of the ruins. Several skeletons of large creatures are scattered around the area.
