Yellow Stalfos

Yellow Stalfos are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed]

Characteristics

A Link to the Past

They are much different from other Stalfos as they detach and throw their skulls at Link to attack. These skulls fly through the air and cannot be destroyed, and must simply be deflected away. These Stalfos will not attempt to jump away from Link's attacks, and will instead crumble to a pile of bones when hit. If let alone, their bodies will fly away. If these are crumbled before they can detach their heads, then they will fly away once they stand up, head and all.

Link's Awakening

Yellow Stalfos appear in Link's Awakening where they jump up and crash down on Link's current position. They do not throw their skulls in this game.

Other Appearances

Cadence of Hyrule

Yellow Stalfos are a stronger variety of Stalfos, possessing more health and attack power than their weaker counterpart. Like Stalfos, they also move to the music on every other beat, crouching on one beat before hopping away to an adjacent tile on the second beat, harming anyone who stands in their way. They use shields to protect themselves from frontal attacks, though they can be easily knocked off by a Weapon. They only appear in dungeons, and can be summoned by a Yellow Sarcophagus.
