Aji
Aji is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Aji is a Goron who runs the Protein Palace General Store in Goron City.[3] He sells a small selection of Roasted Foods that were Cooked upon a heated stone slab.
If Link asks about the Protein Palace, Aji explains that he grills Roasted Food.[4] He admits that since Gorons normally only eat Rocks, the General Store mainly serves tourists.[5] However, because it is possible to create Roasted Foods just by placing them on the ground in the Scorching Climate, he has been losing customers.[6]
If Link decides to buy from him, Aji becomes extremely shocked, since he has not had a customer in a very long time.[7] When Link repeats this desire, Aji appreciates it, since it is very easy to create Roasted Food outside of the Protein Palace.[8] He claims not to be worried about this, though, and he encourages Link to take what he wants.[9] When Link buys a piece of Roasted Food, Aji remarks that he is sold out.[10] Should Link buy all of Aji's wares, he will promise to restock soon.[11]
Like other General Store owners, Aji will buy Items from Link.[12] Throughout the process, he encourages Link to sell to him.[13][14][15] Whenever he makes a purchase from Link, Aji will thank him.[16][17] He also remarks that he is doing good business.[18]
If Link stands on Aji's Cooking platform, he looks visibly surprised and asks him to stop.[19][20] Speaking to him in this state has him beg Link to get down.[21][22] He may also question Link's upbringing, implying that he lacks manners.[23]
