Ancient Material

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

Ancient Materials,(BotW)[1] also known as Ancient Parts(BotW | HWAoC)[2][3] and Ancient Components,(BotW)[4] are a recurring class of Items in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Ancient Materials are Materials that all source from Ancient Technology, like Guardians. Ancient Materials are a type of Monster Part, and therefore can be exchanged for Mon and used to Cook Elixirs.

When Link defeats Guardians, they will drop several Ancient Materials. Fallen Guardians can also be scavenged for them.[5] A number of Ancient Materials can be found in Treasure Chests in Ancient Shrines and Divine Beasts. Lastly, Ancient Materials are sold by the Merchant Teli, who travels between Fort Hateno and Hateno Village.
