The Big Green Chuchu is the Boss of Deepwood Shrine in The Minish Cap.[note 1]

Characteristics

The Big Green Chuchu slips its way inside the Deepwood Shrine while Link is inside exploring its depths. The Big Green Chuchu is a normal-sized Chuchu, but it is considered to be huge by Minish-sized creatures. In order to defeat the Big Green Chuchu, Link must use the Gust Jar to suck jelly from the base of the Big Green Chuchu's body. Once enough has been sucked out, the Big Green Chuchu will lose its balance and fall over, becoming susceptible to attacks from the Smith's Sword.

The reward for defeating the Big Green Chuchu is a Heart Container and the Earth Element.

Notes

  1. The Big Green Chuchu is also known as the Giant ChuChu in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap—The Official Nintendo Player's Guide by Nintendo Power.[1] However, as this name contradicts the name given in-game, it is not considered Canon.
