The Black Beast is an Enemy in Oracle of Seasons.[2]
Characteristics
The Black Beast is a Mini-Moldorm found on an Island on the Western Coast. The Island is only reachable for Link through the use of the Slingshot to light a Torch and extend a bridge to the coastal landmass.
Link may awaken the Black Beast by dropping or shooting a Mystery Seed onto a dirt mound shaped like a question mark, found on the Island. This will make the mound disappear and the Black Beast emerge. Once he is defeated, a Treasure Chest containing the X-Shaped Jewel will appear.
