Features and Overview

Ocarina of Time

The Castle Gate is the area connecting Hyrule Castle Town's Market to Hyrule Field. During the Child Era, it is home to the Guardhouse. At night, a single Dog roams the road and the drawbridge leading to and from Hyrule Field is raised, preventing travel between the two areas. During the Adult Era, it is abandoned, save for the new Ghost Shop that occupies the former Guardhouse. The drawbridge was also destroyed during the seven years since the Child Era, ensuring constant access to and from Hyrule Field.
