Green Goriyas are enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Characteristics

A Link to the Past

In A Link to the Past, Green Goriyas first appear in the Palace of Darkness and reappear in later Dark World Dungeons such as Ganon's Tower. They copy Link's movement pattern, similar to Arm-Mimics and Shy Guys, moving in the same direction as Link. Green Goriyas can be cornered and destroyed with the Master Sword and are especially weak to the Bow.

In A Link to the Past, Green Goriyas make a single appearance in the Light World in a cave in Death Mountain. In A Link to the Past & Four Swords, they were replaced with Eyegores in the Light World, thus they only appear in the Dark World in that version.

A Link Between Worlds

In A Link Between Worlds, Green Goriyas appear mainly in Dungeons, as well as the Treacherous Tower. In the Treacherous Tower, four Green Goriyas appear on Floor 16, along with three Red Goriyas. Link must fight the enemies on an Icy Floor in order to proceed to the next floor.
