The Red Pillars are a series of three buildings that can be found in the Gerudo Desert during the Sand Shroud. They are described on the Mural in the Underground Shelter to help lead Riju to the Sage of Lightning in the Lightning Temple.[2] During the "Riju of Gerudo Town" Main Quest, Link must connect a Light Beam between all three Pillars.

In the Red Pillar closest to Gerudo Town, Link is able to smash the Hard Sediment covering the origin of the Light Beam. Then, using the Mirror affixed to its ceiling, he can aim it towards the second Pillar. He can then use this Pillar's Mirror to aim the Light Beam towards the final Red Pillar. In order to aim the final Mirror towards the first Red Pillar, he must reattach the Poles to its lever. Once all three Red Pillars are connected via the Light Beam, a Battery will rise at their center.[3]
