The Room of Light and Shade is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

The Room of Light and Shade is a room connected to the Lightning Temple 4F. There are two chambers to the Room of Light and Shade. The upper chamber contains a central altar with a decorative bridge over a gap, as well as a hole in the chamber floor, leading to the one below. The altar's gap is obscured by a hatch controlled by a light-sensitive Switch on the lower chamber. This Switch is located behind a rotating wall which must be stopped with an Object in order for a Light Beam located at the center of the chamber to be redirected to it long enough to activate. When activated, the Light Beam will continue upward into the higher chamber so that it can be redirected to another light-sensitive Switch blocking a battery in the Lightning Temple 4F.
