Location and Uses
One of the 31 Treasure Maps found throughout the World of the Ocean King, Treasure Map #28 is located on the Isle of the Dead and can be collected during Link's first visit to the island. Inside the cave with McNey's journal is a bombable wall, leading to a hidden room full of Rupoors in a maze-like formation. If Link makes it through the maze, he'll come to an area with several Blue and Red Rupees and four Treasure Chests; the second Chest from the left contains the Treasure Map.
Treasure Map #28 adds a red X to the Sea Chart of the Northeastern Sea, just northwest of the Isle of Ruins. By sailing to this location and using the Salvage Arm, Link can salvage a Sunken Treasure containing a random valuable Treasure. Up to 30 Bonus Rupees can also be collected during the salvage.
