Location and Uses
One of the 31 Treasure Maps found throughout the World of the Ocean King, Treasure Map #8 is located on the Isle of Gust and can be collected during Link's first visit to the island. Once Link gains access to the northern section of the island, a desert area filled with windmills and Sandworms, he can find a Treasure Chest containing the Treasure Map resting in the southeastern corner.
Treasure Map #8 adds a red X to the Sea Chart in the eastern section of the Southwestern Sea, near Mercay Island. By sailing to this location and using the Salvage Arm, Link can salvage a Sunken Treasure containing a random Ship Part. Up to 21 Bonus Rupees can also be collected during the salvage.
